Introduction

Carbofuran is one of the most toxic carbamate pesticides.
Carbofuran is marketed under the trade names Furadan, by FMC Corporation and Curater, among several others.
Carbofuran is used to control insects in a wide variety of field crops, including potatoes, corn and soybeans.
Carbofuran is a systemic Insecticide, which means that the plant absorbs it through the roots, and from here the plant distributes it throughout its organs (mainly vessels, stems and leaves; not the fruits), where insecticidal concentrations are attained. Carbofuran also has contact activity against pests.
Broad-spectrum, high efficiency, low-residue, highly toxic carbamate Insecticide, mite, nematicide. With internal absorption, contact and stomach toxicity, and has some ovicidal action, longer duration of the efficacy, generally in the soil half-life of 30 ~ 60d.

Use:
Carbofuran can be used to control rice stem borers, rice thrips, rice longitudinal leaf insects, planthoppers, rice leafhopper, rice weevil, corn borer, corn rootworm Mitch, aphids, bollworm, soybean aphid, soybean pod borer, mites and nematodes. General dosage is 6.8 ~ 10g active ingredient / 100m2, or 3% granules 225 ~ 300g/100m2. Cotton, cotton seed treatment can be first off down by the sulfuric acid, then 35% of the seed coating (seed dry weight of active ingredient is 1%) coating treatment, prevention and control aphids, cutworms and other pests.
